PLEASE NOTE:  At the current time our guineas are only available in the mixed guinea assortment only.  Pictures of all our different varieties are provided for your information.    Guineas are the farm yard watch dog, sounding the alarm and raising a ruckus whenever anything or anyone unusual comes around.  They will consume large amounts of insects but they will seldom bother your flowers or garden.   Once you get your guineas going, they will basically fend for themselves, living on insects, seeds, and grasses.  They control deer ticks, wood ticks, grasshoppers, box elder bugs, flies crickets, and all other insects.  They will discourage rodents with their call and will kill and eat mice and small rats.  They will kill snakes, and will alert you to anything unusual.  Guineas are very entertaining to watch.  They will patrol across your property in formation within eyesight of each other, foraging for food or bugs.  People keep guineas around for many different reasons.  They are a very curious and interesting bird, with quite a personality.
